Trail of Art – Heights Boulevard
Mayor Sylvester Turner celebrated the installation by attending the artist reception and enthusiastically declared his support of such public art exhibits. The goal of “Trail of Art” is to provide an exhibition that is a representation of regional works of contemporary art along the esplanade for the enjoyment of our community and visitors.

Silkwood has been creating mosaic pieces for over a decade now. Unlike some artists, who switch between mediums, Silkwood has dedicated herself strictly to creating mosaics. Mosaics is a unique artform not used by many artists.
